The African Princess Dance Troupe is a student dance troupe developed by, Artistic Director, Kween Kahmaria while employed as an Educational Assistant at St. Mark School (SK) 2005 and became an offical troupe in 2011.
These young ladies, whose ages range from 10 to 18 years, hail from many different countries spanning from Zambia, to Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Sudan, each bringing a special part of their African heritage to the group.
The troupe provides an opportunity for them to utilize their God-given talent and help others in need. It also allows them to express their heritage with enthusiasm and pride and become role models for younger girls of African descent.
